In the frame of Inter-University module of the University of Szeged, the University of Miskolc and the University of Sopron on efficient sustainability the participant's data are controlled by the University of Szeged, the University of Miskolc and the University of Sopron jointly.

We as data controllers described above handle your personal data on a legal basis of an agreed contract for teaching or learning in higher education we already have.

We collect and manage your data only if it is necessary for your access, authentication and needed according to support the learning procedure.

This data processing shares the rules and regulations (including the right to be forgotten) that applies to higher education institutions regulated by law.

GDPR

In terms of the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), CourseGarden instance owner use the CourseGarden service as a data processing tool.

Data Controller’s contracted data processing partner is the CourseGarden Inc. with its data processing service named CourseGarden.

Why do CourseGarden collect information from you?

All data such as registration details, name, email provided by you is to be stored as long as the Data Controller or You decides on according to legal basic.

Data is stored on AWS on secure AMAZON servers located in Ireland.

How do CourseGarden use shared data to access cloud storage (eg. Google Drive and DropBox)?

CourseGarden use the authentication information provided by users for only accessing the files in cloud storage. Google Drive or DropBox cloud of the user if they use this integration in CourseGarden platform. CourseGarden don't alter in any way the user data in the cloud storages, and CourseGarden only store and read data if the user wants this. CourseGarden do not use cloud storage authentication data in any other way.

Provided data:

Information such as your name, company name, email address, postal address and any other contact details, and any other content that you provide, type, upload and submit by completing forms on the Site or using the Service (including information about you if you register as a user or subscribe to a Service).

Remember, when you share information with others, your content may become accessible through the system. The information you provide as part of the functional collaboration with other users, means you disclose this information for them and it is not private any more.

Inferred data:

CourseGarden may automatically collect certain information about the computer or other devices that you use to access the Site or use the Services, including mobile devices, through commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and web beacons (see Cookies section).

CourseGarden may also collect information when you access the service: unique device identifiers and other information about your mobile phone or other mobile devices such as your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser types, browser language, operating system, the state or country from which you accessed the Services;

Security

Security mechanisms followed by CourseGarden. All communications are over HTTPS, all personal passwords are hashed. CourseGarden servers are hosted in Amazon AWS on their own secure virtual environment.

CourseGarden system is designed to keep tight rules. Users only access data just in the appropriate scope.

Children

CourseGarden Services do not target and are not intended to attract children under the age of 16. If you are under 16 in your country of residence, please ask your parent or guardian to help to find a way of legal use. Based on responsibilities of and agreements with your data controller of CourdseGarden instance owner joining may be legal.

CourseGarden Site uses cookies and/or other similar technologies to enhance & customize your user experience. Cookies are small text files placed on your device that enable us to remember your device, and which can be used to manage a range of features and content as well as storing searches and presenting personalized content. CourseGarden use this information to ensure the proper functioning and security of CourseGarden Site and Services and to optimize the Site or Services.

What kind of Cookies do CourseGarden use?

Data processing for this purpose is a legitimate business interest of the Data Processor.

Changes

The Data Processor and the Data Controller reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to this Policy we will notify you about by sending you a notification.
